Associate Product Manager

Job Responsibilities

- Develop knowledge of government services in order to be able to assist government in adopting digital government enablers
- Understand the technical aspects of the digital government enablers to be able to participate in discussion with different stakeholder, assist in solving an issue, suggest enhancements, and articulate questions from entities
- Support product manager, supporting a cross functional team to deliver a product and continuously improve it through several iterations
- Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps and champion these in the delivery of your product features
- Support the management of a product backlog, writing user stories and making decisions about prioritization
- Engage with users and stakeholders in a range of settings to encourage take-up and use of your product
- Define onboarding process and conduct various sessions and training to enable entities to adopt digital government enablers
- Set measurable goals for your product and report against these to demonstrate progress against stated benefits
- Bring the release to market by updating stakeholders such as call center and any required materials such as FAQ
- Liaise with the Marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products
- Assist in realizing the vision, roadmaps and delivery of other products
- Perform quality assurance controls on products
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing for every release before go-live to ensure its quality
- Measure product performance after a new feature is implemented
- Analyze and report on the performance of features in production, reflecting on successes and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Perform any administrative work related to internal procedures such as memos, letter, contract etc...

Skills

- Experience with product management approaches in an agile digital delivery context, such user needs, prioritization, prototyping and continuous improvement
- Experience managing the product lifecycle
- Familiarity with engaging with users and identifying how their needs can and are being met by products and services
- Ability to translate technical language into business language as needed to bridge the gap between business and technical professionals
- Knowledge of new and emerging digital technologies such as Blockchain and AI and the opportunities they provide to improve the delivery of government services
- Knowledge of technical concepts, design and architecture and core technologies that the product requires to deliver capabilities such as APIs and databases
- Knowledge of project management tools
