Apply all approved procedures for the accreditation, registration, testing of telecommunications equipment, and sample management.
Test telecommunications equipment to ensure compliance with approved technical specifications and standards, and issue the required technical reports.
Implement the laboratory management system (ISO 17025) by following approved testing procedures and managing testing systems within the National Laboratory.
Manage and monitor assigned internal and external projects.
Continuously identify challenges in the telecommunications equipment market and develop solutions to ensure consumer safety and support the telecommunications equipment sector in the UAE. - Research and conduct studies to prepare responses and advise Manager Technologies and Planningin the development of policies related to numbering and fees for use and allocation of number resources.
- Ensure compliance to all numbering standards, policies laid down and report any issues around compliance for offenders to be fined.
- Redresses of any numbering related issues and problems faced by operators.
- Participate in the representation of the UAE in meetings, conferences, delegations, workshops, and other international gatherings having to do with technical and/or regulatory issues.
