- Familiarity with government services in order to be able to assist government entities in adopting government enablers
- Understand the technical aspects of digital government projects to be able to participate in discussions with various stakeholders, help solve technical problems, suggest improvements, and answer questions from government entities
- Understand the scope of digital government projects and enablers and work on developing and reviewing requirements on an ongoing basis in order to improve them according to the needs of partners and customers
- Assessing the needs of government agencies in the short term, using structured interview processes, to determine work priorities and provide technical solutions through digital government capabilities
- Preparing an annual plan and determining performance indicators to increase the level of use and adopt digital government capabilities, which include but are not limited to (the digital identity and the government link for services, the questionnaire system, the unified platform and others)
- Suggesting and preparing the appropriate regulatory framework for trade, and digital economy, in coordination with the Ministry of Economy and local economic departments.
- Supervising the monitoring and control of the activities of electronic trust and certification service providers to ensure compliance with the Federal Law of the State and all subsequent regulations.
- Suggesting appropriate regulatory tools, in coordination with the competent authorities, with regard to electronic consumer protection.
- Studying, proposing and implementing projects that contribute to enhancing public confidence in the validity, integrity and reliability of electronic transactions, communications and records.
- Studying and proposing the best practices applied in e-commerce and sector trends, and providing them to the authority's team.
- Examine the documents of complaints and arguments submitted by the licensee/disputing parties and advise the Director of Legal Affairs on the actions to be taken.
- Coordination with the economic departments regarding the regulation of electronic economic activities and the issuance of no-objection letters for these activities.
- Awareness about the benefits of trade and the evolving digital economy in the country and the region as a whole, and awareness of best practices in the field of e-commerce to develop and support entrepreneurs in this field.
- Preparing the required reports and appropriate perceptions on trade and the digital economy and informing key stakeholders, ministers, local government bodies and others of the results.
- Develop reports on the state of trade and the digital economy in the country, support them with statistics and figures, and provide appropriate recommendations about them.
- Carrying out benchmark studies related to trade and the digital environment in the country compared to developed countries in this field.
- Ensure obtaining professional accreditations and certificates in the fields of e-commerce.
- Manage and Configure of the Cloud Services
- Manage the Budget and Contracts associated to those services and the new projects implemented.
- Manage the capacity and demand of the Cloud Services
- Manage the onboarding of Cloud Services ( Infrastructure as a Service, Backup as a Service, Disaster Recovery as Service …etc) .
- Ability to audit and validate the outsource resources work
- Promote FEDnet Services to increase adoption of the infrastructure as a Service
- Support the tenants in configuring the Virtual Data Centers through technical Workshops
- Optimize the tenant’s consumptions through periodic reporting and monitoring
- Tenant migration process and tools used.
- Maintain the SLA and KPI defined on the services offered. - Implement and manage marketing & awareness campaigns and media coverage to highlight the efforts of the digital government and increase confidence in them, using all possible media channels including the traditional and new methods
- Prepare and present awareness sessions and workshops on digital government and its enablers and services to the beneficiaries including citizens and the organizations
- Highlight the efforts of the digital government in the media by appearing in educational videos, television and radio interviews, and participating in relevant national conferences and events.
- Represent the digital government in front of visitors and delegations from inside and outside UAE, participate in internal and national committees, and participate in regional and international meetings and conferences - if the need arises.
